interaction design & big data visualization
digital public library of America
DPLA integrates thousands of data sources into a platform allowing users to generate their own app-like search/browse experiences. iFactory’s mission was to create interaction design based on user personas and use cases that went beyond simple text-based search and browse. We iteratively wire-framed the proposed interaction, architected functionality and executed a responsive visual design. The result is a site with a variety of engaging access paths, including exhibit, timeline and map interfaces. DPLA as been critically acclaimed and has been named one of Time Magazine’s Top 50 websites of 2013.
iFactory designed and developed the DPLA public website. Contact iFactory to learn how we can help your organization expand its web presence and grow its digital footprint.
